- Agravaine Tashaslan (played by Travis E.): Inhumanely attractive and a genius spellcaster, Agravaine is trying to make a name for himself in the supernatural world of Ceteri.. Tagline: “TBA.
- Leo Brienza (played by Emily S.): A werewolf private investigator. Leo has a fondness for Twinkies and is a disappointment to his family. Tagline: “TBA.”
- Ranulf Graeme (played by Christopher D.): Ranulf is a man that introduces himself with a heavy sigh, not only because his name would bewilder the most experienced barista, but also because his life has recently gone down the toilet. Put in administrative leave for something that wasn’t his fault, he’s now forced to join up with some of the folks that actually caused his misery until they make his life better. He’s not going to rely on them alone though, as a tychomancer, a tellurgist, and he simply is one of the best cartographers and survivalists on the Autumn Road. Tagline: “No amount of careful planning can beat pure luck.”
Previously . . .
The sessions opens with the group having screwed over the Silver Lion’s LLC and they still don’t know who did it, the Thaumite (Enriched Quintessence) was taken by Olivia rather than being used by the group. While the group tries to figure out what to do with their newfound wealth, Clio gets in contact with them letting them know that they have some trouble with things, possibly toothfaeires underneath the Boston Athenaerum. She’s suggests that the Library will lease the space to them.

The fae down there hasn’t done that much damage, yet. Aggy suggests scoping it out at least, worst case they can just go back to Clio and say they can’t deal with it. To the hatchback! They all cram into Leo’s car and head towards the library. The find the door in the basement easily since it’s glowly brightly at them. Original wood, black oak in gold leaf reliefs full of grams and sigils. Getting the key close enough, the door opens and entering the entire place is full cobwebs and dust and the buzz of fae all around them. A quick check around and Aggy diagnoses the place is full of Pixies.
Taking a step back causes thousands of beady little glowing eyes to stare at them from the dark, they can sniff out opportunity. Leo, hungry, tries to silently open a pack of twinkies and a small is immediately investigated by a small female pixie. Stuffing his mouth, he manages to distract the small one by giving it the twinkie wrapper and a bloody fight begins between a group with the girl winning. The group tries to figure out how much the swarms may eat.
Aggy asks for a representative of the swarms to step forwards, a bloody battle ensues and an older female pixie steps forwards speaking with a Brooklyn accent asking for one of their representatives to step forwards. The pixie states that they won’t leave, they enjoy it there. Aggy responds that they would rather have the pixie horde as protection. She’s open to the idea, but she also needs to confer with the other swarm leaders, warning them that Manhattan is an uppity bitch. Coming back after a discussion, it seems like the others have agreed upon pain of death on refusal.
The leader pulls out a pair of tiny glasses, a quill, and ink bottle and starts working on the contract details. They need to beware the fine print so Aggy decides to double check the contract to see what is going on while Leo checks for loopholes that can be used. As long as they feed the five clans and pay respects to Lady Libertine. After signing the contract, they get a small look around. There’s a small library, alchemy lab, reagent lab with a few bites taken out of things, a small kitchen and some free couches and cots for overnight stays. There’s also a door that leads into a subway tunnel.
First thing first, Aggy starts by cleaning up the lab and finds a half grown homunculus. It stares out at Aggy, looking too long baked and sleepy. The pixies come forward with a list of demands, ho-hos, sno-balls, ostrich jerky. The last one being only if they can get their hands on it. Leo sympathizes with them while Aggy and Ranulf try to figure out how to best capitalize on their new base. Aggy preps some paperwork to declare this location to the Conclave that they’ll be using it while Ranulf casts a spell to help him. The turnaround on the paperwork is incredible, almost as though it was just fast-tracked through the works and was accepted the same day.
Aftermath
The group takes some time to sort out stuff, fix up alchemy labs, magic workspaces, a pixie-proof pantry, a bunch of other improvements as well as more fun times to come. They discuss some more improvements such as installing an Autumn Door or getting Magnus in to do his touch, get some wards into place. While they’re waiting, Ranulf taps into a ley line to start recovering their energy and health.
This place is going to take some work.
After Action Report (GM)
This session was short – half as long as normal – owing to some tired players and a tired GM. Most of it ended up discussing details on the party’s new base since it wasn’t done between games in Discord – like planned. Overall, short and more administrative than Roleplaying.
