Previously . . .
Starting the third day abroad, August 12th, they begin their day. Hamilton has alerted them to a vision he’s had about an attack happening the next day at the British Museum which Lisa verifies he’s on the up and up about. JJ suggests that they head out to check out the location but they’ve got quite a few locations they’ve got to go through and very little time and while Steve has come down with airline crud, they’re led on the tour by Paul Lindsey. Even passing by the Thames, and dealing with Fiona’s anguish about it, leads to little as Harvey tries and fails to come up with good idea for a water purification device. Harlowe, meanwhile, asks if they can move their dinner reservation to a closer branch of the restaurant so they have some extra free time to do things with, namely to investigate the museum.

Tuesday August 12th, 2008, 1900 hours
The British Museum, Great Russell St, London WC1E 7JW, United Kingdom
Around the end, Harlowe suggests that they check out a different branch of the same restaurant for dinner, one that’s closer to the end of their daily tour destination which would allow them to break off from the tour and get to the British Museum for at least a good hour or more before last admission. After dinner, they head over to the nearby museum, several noticing that they were followed to the museum where Fiona familiarizes herself with the local washroom in case she wants to visit again later. Harlowe gathers all the available pamphlets and starts trying to imagine how he would assault the room if he was looking for something.
Aftermath
Afterwards, Hamilton, JJ, Fiona, and Harvey head out to go have drinks and fun while Harlowe becomes more of a wet blanket and instead evaluates what going on. Most of them have a great amount of fun. Steve checks up on the group wearing a housecoat and slippers. Harlowe works with Warren to gain control of the Fire Suppression Systems, the Fire Alarm Systems, to get them on the appointment list for the Reading Room. He also looks through the names to see if there’s any repeated on the appointments with no one repeating too much.
As the party goers file back into the hotel, one name of the exhibits in The Reading Room and the Enlightenment Hall that come forwards is Norbert T. Jeraki. Harvey explains that he’s a physicist that goes from strange physics to strange pseudoscience that disappeared one day, just walked out and disappeared. Apparently some of his caretakers and family decided to donate some of his belongings to the museum to do an exhibit on him. Some of the things that was seen in the exhibit list reminds them of the devices in Hardison’s basement. With their interest piqued, Harlowe starts the research into who else has been looking into the Jeraki works and to see if he can get some photographs off the cameras for Hamilton to focus on.
After Action Report (GM)
This session was frustrating to me for a lot of reasons. One, I had to constantly remind folks not to talk over each other – that is one frustrating thing I hate about online play despite everything I love about it. Two, the PCs just talked in circles instead of embracing action. Today was supposed to be a major combat. It’s been pushed back to next week. Hopefully. Three, I had a hypo about 2 hours in and man that just was the icing on the cake.
Despite all that they did have me laughing at some points. Chris D. kept critting rolls. Chepe with the toilets was pretty funny too. Overall, it wasn’t bad. But we need to be more focused. This campaign needs momentum and till we get it I’m going to be a bit of a tyrant. Too many off-topic discussions – and I’m just as much to blame as everyone else so I need to shape up too.
Other Notes
Ended the session early due to a personal medical issue.
