Carpe Blogiem: Author, Patreon, and Blog Highlights – October 2018

Authorial Highlights

• My Pyramid article “The Fifth Attribute” was published in Pyramid #3/120: Alternate GURPS V.
• I wrote, revised, and submitted my short GURPS item with its shorter deadline. That’s done.
• My non-GURPS project stalled while I sort some stuff out behind the scenes. I ended up having to toss about 1200 words of material out after some new guidelines were handed down from on high.
• My bigger GURPS project remains on the backburner.
• I currently have three outstanding contracts: my bigger GURPS item, the GURPS Monster Hunters item, and another non-GURPS item.

Blog Highlights

• Posting continues to remain sparse. Still. >_<
• I guess the headers will show up…eventually. Maybe. Perhaps.
• I did add a few items to the draft pool, still mostly recaps. I need to ask for prompts from people to maybe get used to posting again.

Patreon Highlights

• Patreon remained on track for October. Still on time! Woot. Patreon Specials were released according to schedule.
• I lost 2 patrons this month – one long-time one. That hurts, but it’s a bit expected with the dearth of posting. Nothing I can do about it right now.
• It looks like Patreon is making it easier for creators with multiple interests to post to multiple subjects. I’m thinking I might take advantage of this at some point (when I have more brain space).

• I ended up with much less time to write this month than normal thanks to having to having home repairs and house cleaning to do.
