Previously . . .

The group has been going around Europe, having their own bits of fun through what has happened in London has weighed on them a bit. Harrison has been working to get the group to get better accommodations to help enjoy their time travelling. In Munich, Fiona has broken into the private areas of Nymphenburg Palace Gardens, appears in a fountain, and gives a speech regarding environmental impact that is recorded and goes viral. In Venice, there’s a particularly powerful meta known as the Pearl Diver that’s essentially the protector of Venice that’s also a water manipulator that’s far more powerful than Fiona that’s been keeping Venice waterways clean. Steve, Harrison, and Ulrich have been spending time trying to figure out what it is that they’ve come across, at one point Ulrich left Harrison in charge at Rome and left for a night but came back looking rather unhappy.

Rosewood

They’ve just passed into France and staying at the Rosewood Hotel where they’ve got some free time to rest and get back to their tour. Fiona wants to go check out Christian Dior, Hamilton and Harvey decides to go with her as there may be some genes left behind in the clothing. Hamilton is also quite interested in visiting local cafes that have poetry hours. Essentially having a grand time as Harlowe sticks behind at the hotel doing his own thing.

A Walk To Remember

The Louvre
Tuesday September 2nd, 2008, 0900 hours
Musée du Louvre, 75001, Paris, France

The next day they get to go to the Louvre, seeing things even behind the scenes or rather in some of the storage rooms, seeing all manners of wonders in a tour that lasts over four hours. They grab something on the go and then head onto a Paris city walk that includes the Notre-Dame Cathedral. For dinner, they’re in the Latin Quarter at La Jacobine, getting something nice with their budget, they can afford almost anything as long as it’s not crazy expensive. Fiona goes for some dish with mussels, Hamilton gets a fancy steak, Harrison asks for a steak as well with ketchup that the restaurant makes manually. Almost everyone seems interested in having the Aztec Hot Chocolate as Harlowe basically goes back to the hotel to do his own thing.

Aftermath

The next day, they get to go on a Seine River cruise, where it’s so clean that they can see the bottom and the greenery is quite vivid. Fiona keeps popping from the boat to the shore to pick things up and back to the boat on the sly while Hamilton has been enjoying his time just floating along the river. Harlowe sticks to doing his own thing.

Finally the next day rolls around, getting some free time before heading onwards to Lucerne via train. Lynn drags Fiona off to have a day just for them. Hamilton talks someone with a license to drive him around the countryside, looking at vineyards and the scenery. Fiona has zipped herself and Lynn up the river to enjoy a picnic with hot street foods in the mountains.

Session was too short and had to end the game early due to my glucose not cooperating and inclement weather.
