Authorial Highlights
- I have settled on what form of fiction I want to write. Outlining is mostly done. I keep going back to it and revising it though.
- “GURPS Meta-Tech” aka GURPS Whatchamacallit is staged and ready for release in June 2024. No, I don’t have a specific time – when it shows up I will be talking about it (of course). Edit: It comes out June 27th, 2024!!!! I started a forum thread to hype it up. If you have a forums account go there and talk about what you want or how you’d use it.
- The Fantasy Trip Quick Quest “The Gallery of Hands” remains in the hands of Steve Jackson.
- Working on another article for Hexagram for The Fantasy Trip – this one is sort of portable to any system and will talk about portals, gates, and similar traveling methods. This was temporarily stalled. Have another idea for monsters as well. Love writing TFT monsters. Reminds me of early days in DnD.
- “GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire” aka GURPS Visage-22 is in the process of being playtested and man we got another good group of folks. It’s going great.
- Haptic movement stopped for a couple of months even though I kept cranking out blogposts. We got the Ashlands update for Valheim and we’re doing some other stuff I think folks are just going to love.
- I currently have three outstanding contracts: a TFT Quick Quest, GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire, and GURPS Meta-Tech.
- Total wordcount for April was 2,716 words and May was 11,335 words – I failed my goal both times. My health has…not been great. But I’m getting better (see below for details)
- I’m reducing wordcount to about 10,000 words for June 2024. Gotta build back up. Slowly slowly catchy monkey.

- Blog entries 0 per week. I could not blog anything pretty much at all.
- Wrote no entries except this one.
- I have some backlog I want to release and I’m just going to post every day until it’s gone and start writing some new content.

- I did basically nothing in the months of April and May. No campaign stuff. No paid stuff. Nothing.
- I had … let’s call it a “health scare.” I’m a lot better, but I’m suffering some ugly after effects. You can read about it here (it’s on Patreon, but it’s free for all to see).
- I continue my learning in the Virginia Board of Workforce Development program. I’m now into Phase Three. Still on that pause though.
