Authorial Highlights
- I have settled on what form of fiction I want to write. Outlining is mostly done. I keep going back to it and revising it though.
- “GURPS Meta-Tech” aka GURPS Whatchamacallit is in the hands of Sean Punch aka Dr. Kromm. I turned it in on the 25th of March. Just over 16% of wordcount goal, but I think it’ll still be accepted. As of 4/5/24, the final edit is at 50%. Considering I turned it in on 3/25, and he didn’t start until 3/26. That’s not bad. That’s 3 days (3/26, 3/27, and 3/28) and then another 4 days (4/1 through 4/4). So maybe 56 hours of editing so far? That’s not terrible. I also haven’t heard anything like questions and such so far…which is a great sign. I’m hoping the edit is easy from the sheer amount of work I put into it. (I’ll talk about this later.)
- The Fantasy Trip Quick Quest “The Gallery of Hands” remains in the hands of Steve Jackson.
- Working on another article for Hexagram for The Fantasy Trip – this one is sort of portable to any system and will talk about portals, gates, and similar traveling methods.
- “GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire” aka GURPS Visage-22 has gone through a edit and is playtest read. It is in the hands of Steve Jackson Games. Want to be a playtester? We can use you!
- Haptic is still working on Palword. We’re at a bit of stop at the moment.
- I currently have three outstanding contracts: a TFT Quick Quest, GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire, and GURPS Meta-Tech.
- Total wordcount for March was 12,632 words – I failed my goal. GURPS Meta-Tech took precedence and I basically worked on it for close to 19 days straight.
- I’m reducing wordcount to about 15,000 words for April 2024.
