Authorial Highlights
- Worked on a couple of different short bits and bobs to stretch my fiction writing muscles. Getting a bit more confidant.
- “GURPS Meta-Tech” aka GURPS Whatchamacallit seems to have got a great reception. I don’t know copies sold (yet!), but there is three ways you can grab it right now. Go get it. It’s 40 pages of goodness.
- The Fantasy Trip Quick Quest “The Gallery of Hands” remains in the hands of Steve Jackson.
- Working on another article for Hexagram for The Fantasy Trip – still working on a monster article. Maybe for Hexagram #13?
- “GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire” aka GURPS Visage-22 playtest is over and we’re doing a final edit before submission and then off to layout.
- Haptic is still going right now, though I’m doing stuff pro bono ’cause of some issues beyond anyone’s control. I can use the money, but I like the owners so I’m going to keep the relevant as I can so when they do come back. Besides, writing about videogames is freaking soothing.
- I currently have two outstanding contracts/projects a TFT Quick Quest and GURPS Monster Hunters Adventure: The Face of Fire.
- Total wordcount for June was 1,6130 words – I met my goal of 15,000 words for the month of June.
- I’m increasing wordcount to about 20,000 words for July 2024. Still building up, but it’s taking time.

Miscellaneous Related News
- I started back to work, taking on 3-4 days a week. Resting the rest of time and trying to relax. Slowly slowly, catchy monkey.
- I am no longer on the Steve Jackson Games forums at all and I don’t see that changing without dramatic improvement over there. That place is a toxic fire waiting to burn it all down. Harsh words, but I’ve never been one to mince words. If you need me for something, one of the following methods will get my attention:
- My health took a pretty dramatic turn for the better. I’m still dealing with PHN flares my normal nerve pain garbage, diabetes, and migraines. Overall though? I’m good. I’d say I’m at about 80% right now and it’s trending up.
- I continue my learning in the Virginia Board of Workforce Development program. I’m now into Phase Three. Still on that pause though.
