I previously did a primer series on my Chronicles of Ceteri and Aeon campaign setting (both of which are currently unfinished – I will finish this one damn it) and it was so well received I decided to make it a “thing” on my blog. So, here’s the intro for my newly minted wuxia wainscot fantasy campaign which I’ve named “The Middle Kingdom.” So first, here’s what my session recap page has to say (I’ve reprinted it here so you don’t have to go there):
The fated and the fantastic stand side by side in a world of myth, monsters, gods, and demons. Martial artists battle one another with ancient powers and mystical skill in a bid to control the modern world. Great houses war with one another as they try and conquer their enemies. All the while, the world passess by as if nothing is happening and refuse to believe the evidence of their eyes. This is the world of the Middle Kingdom.
In this series I’m going to discuss the campaign world, supernatural powers, the current roster of teams, and the current world as it stands. I’ll also be offering tidbits from my setting bible as needed to illustrate points.
